 Why Build a Website, Build an Online Empire


They prey on you playing with your mind that you are doing it wrong and you need this product or that product and before you know it, you’re done before you started.

How do I know this? I have gone through this cycle, that’s how. Let’s get one thing straight, only a small percentage of people out there will ever make money in any endeavor. It is the old 90-10 rule or whatever percentage split is out there today.

10% of the population succeeds while the rest of us are left struggling and struggling when all we want to do is live the life we’ve always dreamt of. It’s not new and it will probably never change. It comes down to one thing – that is us and what is between our ears (really think about that for awhile. It sounds so simple but it is unfortunately not).

The key is to pick a strategy and master it. Throw away and don’t open any other gurus who are experts at other strategies until you are ready for them. Keep your wallet closed and spend the time to succeed at one process, then you will be ready to move on to the next one.

I’ll tell you one other secret. You can make money online if you do one thing. Provide value and do it better than anyone else. You must treat your online ventures like a business, a real business.

You must also focus your efforts on marketing. There are many aspects to building a business, but as one expert I was reading today said, if you don’t get traffic, nothing else will matter.

The other thoughts I have is that you need to pick your tools wisely. Even though you can do everything separately, it is important to be good at what you are good at and let others focus on their expertise. Entrepreneurs don’t do it all themselves. If they do, they are not true entrepreneurs.

They put together teams to help bring the big idea together. They delegate, outsource, and focus on that they are good at – being visionaries and creating the company from the bottom up.

Everyone has one great idea in them (typically more) and has an expertise in at least one area whether you know it Spend some time and pick a strategy. I learned this in other areas of life also. Focus on one thing and you will succeed if you stick to it. Become an expert and go out there and market the heck out of it.
